Yes, I'm an Avatard, and having attended a panel dedicated to the show, I found the fandom seems much saner than another fandom that I find shockingly crass... (Maybe it has something to do with the idea that parents are getting into it to and will actually watch what their kids are doing...) If I had the time to join the fandom, I probably would, since I don't feel embarrased to associate with the average fan.
