A Sanctuary in Passion

'Tis the season. Thought I should finally put up the working sketch since it's Easter.

Kingdom Hearts II theme-song inspired. The Japanese intro song is called "Passion," while the English one is called "Sanctuary." I thought nothing of "Passion" until I heard "Sanctuary," the latter with mild religious connotations. (Very mild.) But still, really? Probably just coincidence, but a strange coincidence.

For years I've wanted to do some religiously-themed fan art. (Then called "Purification" 1 and 2, featuring Milo and Kida from Disney's Atlantis, respectively, and would serve as a personal channel for needing to, well... Let's just say some fan-creations [one in particular I won't mention that makes my obsession look tame and more-than-sane and badly scarred me] I've run into have at times made me scream "UNCLEEEEEAAAAAN!!!!!"

This however, I ended up doing because it felt more... I guess creative, or at least different. Politically incorrect? No kidding. Can't say I care. I have no clue if Sora's Christian. I doubt it really matters. For every person he could be different, and here's mine.

Still needs to be cleaned and colored sometime.
